Mr. Wooden Spoon himself, Julian did seems to be finally be moving away from that bottom slot (ooohhh errr missus!!!), managing four consecutive seasons without any woodenware to show for it. He even managed to be actually challenging for silverware at one and getting closer to the elusive title by finishing 3rd and then 2nd is Serie H & I. However since then the nosebleed must have kicked in and he has spent the last 6 years in the bottom 2. He now has 7 wooden spoons to his name... nearly enough to open his own kitchenware shop!!!.

It was always said he would do much better if he actually bothered to participate beyond the auction, (something he proved to be right during Serie H & I) where he always seems to pick the basis of a good squad (although lets not forget Jeremy Goss and Marco Gabbiadini!!!). Dubbed the 'Non-league team' by Nigel (who has a much more impressive record himself - not!!). Julian now is the only remaining member of the PGW never to lift the championship trophy.

Drinks Guinness with the big boys, especially at the auction, but then he has too as he's normally done his cash in the first hour.
